Khurram Nawaz, a resident of Lahore, has been bedridden for the past year due to a severe lower-body mobility condition. Despite his challenges, Khurram remains hopeful and determined to regain his strength. Abdul Qayyum Khan’s life changed forever at the age of nine. One afternoon he returned home from school like any other day—only to wake up the next morning with his eyesight completely gone. Despite being taken to multiple doctors and medical facilities, his vision could never be restored. Since then, Abdul Qayyum has lived with total blindness.
Today, at 46, Abdul Qayyum resides in Township, Lahore, with his aging mother, who herself suffers from various health conditions. His brother and his brother’s family provide daily care, doing their best to support both mother and son despite limited resources.
Recognizing the difficult circumstances this household faces, The Hakim Ajmal Khan Foundation has stepped forward to provide ongoing support. The foundation is assisting Abdul Qayyum with essential needs, medical support, and household care to ensure he and his mother can live with dignity. Our aim is to ease the burden on the family and to stand with them as a source of hope, compassion, and continuous support.
Through your contributions, we are able to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals like Abdul Qayyum—people who depend on the kindness of others to navigate challenges beyond their control.
Recently, we had the honor of welcoming children with visual disabilities to the Hakim Ajmal Khan Foundation. It was an unforgettable day filled with learning, laughter, and inspiration.
During their visit:
We shared our work and charitable initiatives, giving them insight into the mission and impact of the Foundation.
We spent time speaking with the children, listening to their stories, dreams, and challenges.
Most importantly, we got to know them personally, and their courage and joy left a lasting impression on our team.
This visit reminded us why our work is so important — to support, empower, and bring smiles to every child, regardless of their circumstances.
We are grateful for the opportunity to connect, share, and contribute, and we look forward to more initiatives that bring hope and care to those who need it most.
Ayesha is an outstanding student in her final year of undergraduate studies. Despite facing a very difficult home life, she has excelled academically, scoring over 80% in all three years of her degree.
Her father struggles with drug addiction and does not provide for the family, while her mother works part-time as a house cleaner to make ends meet.
We are proud to support Ayesha’s education so she can complete her degree and build a better future. Our hope is that, with her qualification, she will secure a good job and be able to support her mother and younger siblings.
